We took my oldest son to the Magic Castle for his birthday brunch and it was a ton of fun! The Magic Castle is a private club and on most days you have to be a guest of a member to get in. For the Saturday and Sunday brunches you don't have to be accompanied by a member but the brunches fill up so you need to make your reservations early.
The Castle itself has three different show rooms, the first is a room for close up magic, the second is an intermediate size room and the third room is larger for more elaborate shows. We arrived at the Castle at about 11:30 for the 1:45 pm brunch seating.
The first thing we did was get in line for the close up magic show. The close up room is small and fills up fast. After the show we had time to walk around the Castle and check things out - there is PLENTY of things to check out so be sure to take the time to look at the details of the place.
The second show was in the medium size room and the show was tailored for kids.
After the second show it was time to eat. Since we had the last brunch of the day the crowd was pretty small and the line for food wasn't to bad. If the place was packed I could imagine the line for food being pretty long. The food was really good and we all left the table absolutly stuffed.
After brunch it was time for the last show. The magician was quite impressive and it was very impressive just how many birds the guy was able to make appear.
I highly recommend checking out the Magic Castle. The list of magicians that appear is always changing so each visit can be different from the other.
