So I finally got a chance to go camping at San Onofre. I made reservations on reserveamerica about 6 months in advance for camp site 40.
All the camp sites are on a bluff. Camp site 40 is right next to trail 3 (of which there are 6 trails total), and a short 3 min hike down the bluff to the beach. After 9 years of living about 5 miles from the Getty Center we finally decided to go for a visit. The Getty has a reputation as being on of THE museams to see and the reputation is well deserved.
Admission to the museum is free but you have to pay $8 to park. From the parking lot you take a short tram ride up to the Center.

Bolsa Chica is one of the great spots for long boarding in Southern California. The wave isn't super steep and isn't very difficult to catch. Bolsa can get very crowded but the surfers are typically very nice and welcoming.
Bolsa is a state beach so you have to pay to park -$10 per day or your can buy and annual pass for $120.

The Cellar in Long Beach opened up in early 2008 but there is also a Cellar in Fort Worth, Texas that was opened in 1959! The Cellar in Fort Worth was known as a great place for live music and the Long Beach location is going to continue that tradition.

Legoland is pretty much what you would expect! A land of Legos!
The park has changed quite a bit over the last few years. The first time we went there weren't that many rides and the riders that were there were really aimed at smaller children (which was fine with us because we had a smaller child). Each time we have gone back there have been rides added for older kids. The rides are still aimed at the smaller set (I would say 12 and younger) but they are still fun. There are plenty of other ...
